I’m a Melbourne-based animator and painter driven by a passion for seamlessly blending analogue aesthetics in digital animation. Through the interplay of shape, colour, and texture, my work strives to effectively combine playful and hand-crafted visuals with fluidity in movement.

 

I started my career as a video journalist at The Wall Street Journal in Asia where I developed and refined my skills as a visual storyteller. With extensive industry experience, I currently run an independent practice, working with a range of renowned brands, non-profits and news organizations, including Bloomberg, Google, YouTube and Global Citizen.

 

My short films have been internationally recognized, screening at festivals such as the Melbourne International Animation Festival and the World Festival of Animated Film Varna. In 2023, my first animated feature short film, 'Monkey on My Back,' won the Gold Award for Best Animation (Start-ups) in the 10th Animation Support Program in Hong Kong.

 

When not keyframing, I’m painting outdoors, hiking, or nerding out about birds.
